Welcome
SO MUCH HOLIDAY CHEER AT tHE wHITEFIELD sCHOOL.A Note From Our PrincipalDear Parents,
Parent-Teacher organizations are as much a part of American public education as Math, Reading and Writing. These organizations support schools through volunteerism, enrichment and through ever-necessary fund-raising opportunities. Whitefield School has a long history of PTO support that has provided our students with everything from support for book clubs, chorus field trips, award plaques and smoothie days. It is the behinds the scenes work that makes these things possible. From organizing volunteers to work book fairs, to sponsoring movie and games nights, the PTO is quietly worked to make Whitefield School a place where parents can directly impact the educational environment of our children. Over the next year we are hoping to rekindle and strengthen the role that PTO plays at WES. I encourage you to take the Two Hour Pledge and complete the documents with the SAU office to be on the volunteer list. Sincerely, Michael J Cronin, Principal The Whitefield School [email protected] |
A Note From Our PresidentDear Parents,
The Whitefield School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to welcome you to our school. For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are all dedicated to the successful education of our children. The WES PTO works hard to help make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers, and parents. The Whitefield School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization whose mission is to strengthen, enhance, and encourage the educational and social environment at Whitefield School. Its goals are to complement the school curriculum and enrich our athletic, arts, and recreational programs with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate, and grow. We are excited to meet new families, parents, and grandparents that would like to get involved with our PTO. We encourage you to not only join our organization, but get involved as well! Everything we do is based on volunteers and we are always looking for those of you to help make a difference in the lives of our children. You can participate and help us make the 2016-2017 a great school year. We will need as many volunteers as possible, and are flexible enough to work around your schedule. Our group meets approximately once a month to discuss events, plan fundraisers to enhance all programs, and share ideas. This is a wonderful way to find out what is happening at our school from the PTO’s perspective. We in the PTO believe that it is the ultimate importance that we do everything we can to enhance the learning environment of our children as they truly are our future. It will take all of us working together to ensure that this happens. We look forward to getting to know you! Warmest Regards, Eileen Eileen Armstrong PTO President The Whitefield School [email protected] |
